Tick Tock Shop

The Tick Tock Shop opened in a little storefront at 676 N. Circle in 1974. David Mattson, a certified master watchmaker, retired from the Air Force and decided to stay here in beautiful Colorado Springs and open the business. Beginning by doing trade work for several jewelry stores in town, the business began to grow a strong clientele who appreciated quality work done at a fair price.

The storefront quickly became too small and the Tick Tock Shop moved to a larger space up the street. More room meant the store could offer a bigger selection of clocks and watches including several grandfather clocks. After a few years, this space, too, became inadequate, and the Tick Tock Shop moved to its current location at 7 North Circle.

The shop now boasts of the largest selection of watches and clocks in Colorado. Hundreds of clocks (including more than 60 grandfather clocks) and an equal number of watches are on display, and the knowledgeable staff is ready to help with all your timekeeping needs. The Tick Tock Shop has a staff of four full-time repair technicians, in addition to three generations of the Mattson family working together to keep the shop ticking.
